  The Activity Center is in the back of the complex. Just follow the road around until you see the Activity Center. Please bring your lunch (or there are restaurants about 3 minutes from us) and your drinks for the day. There is a refrigerator and microwave for our use. Also, please bring an extension cord for your sewing machine and your current project. Come sew with us and have a great day of fellowship with fellow quilters! Looking forward to seeing you.

  Every quilter thinks that they have a problem with color – when in fact, they need to know more about fabric. Learn exactly what draws the eye to interesting quilt designs and patterns, giving them life.

  We discuss keys to effective fabric selection in the Color Sense workshop, a no-sew, hands-on workshop with a demo where we play with fabric and learn the best tools to assist in our quest for color, and students build paste-up blocks from their stash.

  Learn to apply design rules when choosing fabrics for quilts to enhance your own color and fabric intuition. Students create a resource binder that they will use again and again.

  Understanding the points taught in this workshop will make all the difference in your future quilts and give you a new sense of color confidence.

  Scrap Up Your Stash The Speedy Way by Lori Dickman    

  Grab your scraps and get ready to get organized.  During this workshop, Lori teaches her Speedy solutions techniques as she shows how to cut, sort, organize and store your scrap stash.  Students will learn Lori's "First Scrapping Rule, "her techniques on how to handle bias scraps and selvages and the importance of cutting template scraps and strip stashes.

  Lori offers tips on how to sort and organize your scraps so you can easily pull from your stash to create many beautiful quilts, garments, accessories, pictorial quilts and so much more.
