New Members - The Newbees

New to the guild?

Here are a few tips to help you get involved.

When you arrive each month, stop at the reception table and sign in.  Also write your name on a piece of paper and put in the basket for a chance at winning a door prize.

We encourage you to wear your name tag at every meeting.

Check out our Small Groups/Bees and Community projects for more ways to be involved.

What is the Newbees?
The Newbees is a group of new members of the Quilters’ Guild of East Texas and existing members hoping to learn new techniques. We meet the 1st Monday after guild meetings are held to learn new skills related to quilting and to get acquainted with other members of the Guild. See calendar HERE.

Where does it meet?
Usually, the meeting is held at the Christian Life Center (CLC)  behind at the First Christian Church. We meet in the #7 Conference Room, just down the hall from where guild workshops are held.

When does it meet?
We meet from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM the 1st Monday after the Guild meeting is held. Bring your sewing machine to sit and sew for the day OR just pop in to meet the new and existing members. We do ask that you RSVP so we know to expect you. HERE.
