Karen started quilting as a child from her grandmother who taught her by treadle machine and hand quilting. Beginning her 1st quilt shop in 1995 in Winnsboro, TX. (Calico Junction) After moving to Pottsboro in 2002, Karen began Home a la mode and went on to more heights. Karen does custom quilts for customers and also t-shirt memory quilts and more.
