QGET CHRISTMAS PARTY – December 8th, 2022.
Season of Service & Giving
Children’s Advocancy Center is the focus of our giving this year.
Our program will feature Deanna Sims the Chief Development Officer of CAC.
She will give us a video tour of their amazing facility and share what happens when
a child is removed from the home.
Our Show and Tell will be a parade of all the items you have made and brought for donation to this very worthwhile organization.
Some suggestions are:
1. Lap quilt for boy or girl age 2 to 18
2. A hugable pillow (small carry around)
3. Stuffed animal
4. Pillow case/bag w/draw strings (Corey Starkey has kits & pattern on our website.)
Next we will adjourn for our delicious and festive Christmas potluck.
You will have an opportunity for each of you to see how much history of quilting and the Guild you know. Prizes will be awarded for this Quiz.
WE have two games with prizes.
Twas the Night Before Christmas – A Quilter’s Poem.
And
A “Pass the Present” Story for Christmas
Each participant is asked to make and bring a nice Christmas ornament (or purchase if you run out of time)
A parade of these items and who made them will end our party.
A photo backdrop with a Christmas quilt will be set up for pictures with your Bee or best friend.
