  FRAN MORGAN - Fabric Cafe

  Fran Morgan, nationally known author, designer, teacher and co-owner of Fabric Café, has been professionally active in the creative industry for over 30 years. Fran spent her first years in the creative industry working with a large needlecraft publishing company as resident designer and Design Acquisition Director.

  In January 2001, Fran co-founded Fabric Café, a publishing company in the sewing and quilting industry. She has an upbeat, fun designing style that quilters have come to love.

  Fran has been featured in numerous quilting magazines, and has published over 100 books and dozens of individual patterns for the creative industry. Her newest book Go Bold With 3-Yard Quilts, released in January 2024.

  Fran recently directed her creative talent to fabric design. Her first line, Flower Power, is available from Blank Textiles. Her second line, Color Burst, also from Blank Textiles will be available in stores June 2024.

  Cuddle Quilts "Panel Quilt" Challenge and Fourth of July Picnic

  The “Panel Quilt” Challenge is a wonderful opportunity for you to showcase your skills and contribute to community service.  You may pick up a kit at our next meeting or use a panel from your own stash.  Finished quilts will be turned in at our July guild meeting to be voted on by our members.  Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 places!

  We are so excited to see all the finished quilts!  This challenge is a great way to get involved in our Community Service efforts and we thank you so much!

  Cost is $65.00 per person which includes your ticket to the show.  Reservations (which includes your ticket into the show) began at the November Guild meeting.

The Semaphore Stripes quilt is the perfect way to use striped fabric to make a secondary design without all the complicated piecing stripes typically require, and its jelly roll friendly!
